What Now?

It’s the time for me to rest and replenish before I once again build a bridge for my beloved muse and friend, Anthony Newley and I to meet. To gather and explore more deeply this sacred connection and the work the so-called living and the so-called dead can do together for the betterment of both worlds. I can’t think of another time in my current life where this collaboration was more important.

To that end, due to the tremendous generosity of my dear friend Pam, I’ll be going to the Monroe Institute for the Serving Spirit mediumship weekend taught by Suzanne Giesemann at the end of this month. I particularly wanted to go because Suzanne is one of the few mediums who earns Dr. Raymond Moody’s respect. While I continue to maintain that I am not a medium, Suzanne helps those who wish to connect with higher level benign beings or with our own higher self with more ease, grace and consistency. I’ll be sure to write about that when I return.

In my effort for Could Anthony Newley Be My Muse? to find its audience, I entered the IndieReader Discovery Awards. The winners for that will be announced in May. However, the book is being listed in their Best Books of the Month for this month (so I have my fingers crossed). You can find it here.

That’s all for now. I hope you each will find time to move out of the stressful and oft times painful mass consciousness and find the still small voice within – for you, for me, for us all.

What’s Happening Now

I wanted to let you know why the pace of my blog posts may slow for a time. I am dealing with some health issues that require my attention and care. Quite frankly, right now, it makes it difficult for me to write. Things will get better and the pace will pick up but I wanted you to know. What I will do in the meantime is post thoughts of Rudolf Steiner that are meaningful to our exploration of death, life between death and rebirth, our communion with the dead, destiny, karma, etc. I may also post things by others that will inform our work.

From the beginning I stated that I did not have a precise and complete idea of what the foundation of Community of Spirits will be comprised of but certainly Rudolf Steiner’s work is a major part. However, as I continue forward, it also becomes clearer to me that, as in all things, his work must continue to evolve and grow. So I will be following the nudges I get from my inner teachers, seeing where that leads. It also becomes clearer that, although I belong to the Anthroposophical Society, the bulk of the members of the Community of Spirits, both incarnate and discarnate, will not be anthroposophists. It seems that I am to reach out more to those who might never have encountered Rudolf Steiner’s work.

In my blog post titled “The Mission of the Community of Spirits (or What’s it All About Alfie?)” I offered a link to The Raymond Moody Institute. I read Dr. Moody’s books on the near death experience back in the 70s and have always deeply respected his work. Well….I got a nudge to go back and actually explore his site, which I did. He offers a certification course, “Life After Life Studies.” After looking it over, I knew I needed to take it which I am doing now. It is a stunning course and the synchronicity of it is quite beautiful. I will tell you more about it in the future but I believe it will synthesize with Steiner’s work becoming part of the foundation upon which the Community of Spirits is building.

This was surprising to me as I had no idea Dr. Moody’s work would become an essential piece of the Community of Spirits. But then again, I didn’t know any of this was coming, that any of this would be the work of the last part of my life. But as my spiritual teacher continues to assure me, if one is willing to be of service, if one will step forward in the way one can to serve the Light, then that one will be supported on the inner planes, will receive guidance and direction. I choose to step forward, to act as a conduit, and to listen in and up for direction. It is miraculous how it comes, surprisingly and often quite delightfully. Now I must make myself healthy enough to be a vessel for this work.

So with your patience and support, I will post original thoughts as I can but lean heavily for a time on laying out the thoughts of others pertinent to our work together. Thank you for your understanding. Until next time…
